How to combat frizzycurls for the HOT & Humid Summer

Hey Ladies, I need some advice on what products to get for the hot summer humidity and more so for Jamaica. I went there last year on vacation, plan on going hopefully this year and I was not really prepared for the intensity of the Hot and Humid weather. I tried everything I had from my gels to creams, lottabody setting lotion not a darn thing work. I was left with frizzy lovely afro puffs, missing my define curlies I have a combination of 3c, wavy, and some 4a curl patterns. Like one half of my hair to the back is 3c curly the other have is a wavy loose pattern and the back is 3c/4a spring curls. I usual do 5 braid sets to have a more unified looser & stretched out curl pattern.
But I would like to try a wash and go look and still have a define looser curls without doing a braid set sorta like how my hair looks when wet? So ladies ya have any suggestions for me? please give me any recommendations for products and style techniques

Thanks!
Have you tried Curl Keeper?

Personally I mix it with gel and then apply as I would any other gel. CK doesn't have much hold on it's own (but it may for you if you're a 3c - I'm a 3a and I need more hold). I've mixed it with gel in my hand as well as mixed it in the bottle (essentially making my own little compounded product). For me it works best as the last product in my hair, but others here will say they like to use it as the first product in their hair. This stuff is really the bomb! I buy it in liter sizes.

If you do a search you will come up with lots of posts about it.

HTH!
I definitely 2nd the Curlkeeper! I wouldn't be able to deal w/my hair in the heat & humidity w/o it. After rinsing out conditioner, I mix it w/some Re:coil in my palm & smooth it over the top & bottom, then comb it through w/a wide tooth comb. I do apply a hard holding gel over it, but it gives me frizz free hair all day long. It's my summer HG, along with BRHG.

2b~~fine texture~~normal porosity (except for highlights, which are high)~~normal elasticity~~medium density

Shampoo: Still use sulfates, but only on roots
Rinse out: Deva One C, JC Too Shea, Original Sprouts Deep Conditioner
Curl Enhancers: KCCC; JC Rocking Ringlets, JC Spiralicious, & Confident Coils
Styler: BRHG (over any and all curl enhancers) - this is the one product that I never change - absolute HG!!

Thanks ladies, I been reading throughout the board and found alot of good reviews for this product... and I also checked out there website.

My hair is very thick and I'm wondering if I should just get a sample or larger size (I'm guess I might used alot)?
Do you think the curl keeper could be more effective when using it with there other products lines such as the silk protein conditioners, shampoos, gels and etc.? or others?
3cCurly - I haven't tried any of their other products, but I think the general consensus is that the CK is the stellar product of their line. I get weighed down very easily & can only use the CK in the hot & humid weather; once it starts to cool down, the CK makes my hair stringy & lank. You might want to try one of their travel kits if you're interested in trying the whole line.

For my hair, I only use a quarter sized blob (sometimes 2) per day during the 4 or 5 months of heat & humidity we have here, & I just ordered another liter. I still have about 8 oz. left of my 1st liter purchased a couple of years ago If I used it as my only product, I'd probably use a lot more though!
