Default Parting you hair

How and when do you do it? My hairline does not have a definitive part and was just wondering....Thanks!

mine parts where it wants to but I make small suggestions. Sometimes it's way over to one side sometimes barely off the middle. I do arrange the hair so that it doesn't show a definite part. Some days that works and some days not so much.

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

My hair was parting itself in the middle and my mother harrassed me until i changed the part, now I part the very front of it to the side and let the rest fall where it may. My hairdresser suggested that because she thinks that a defined straight part doesn't look natural on curly hair. I tend to agree. HTH! ~~jax

I do a zig-zag parting ... I take the end of a rattail comb and zig-zag it through my hair on a diagonal, then flip the curls to each side. I seem to get more volume this way and my hair always falls better without looking like it's been "parted."

I use a wide-toothed comb while detangling in the shower. It helps to keep your hair in the part that you made for the next wash.

I part mine with a comb in the shower after I've put in leave-in co. At the front it's on the right, then parted diagonally so it finishes at the crown.
Am going to experiment with the way Jaxie does hers - sounds good.

Wow I never really considered revising the natural part. Mine parts in the middle like its been cut with a blade. In the past people have even mentioned how precise it looks, and asked if its deliberate.

I'm wondering whether to try something different, because I'm not keen on the look, but when I part anywhere else the curls just try to boing back and I get a big booof in the root.

Experiment time!

This is exactly what I do! I let it fall where it does and help it along a tiny bit, maybe moving a curl or two from this side to that. And like medusa - sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't!

Thanks guys, I think I pretty much do the same (give it a little help but let it go where it wants to)!

For the most part, I just part my hair with a comb wherever I feel like parting it that day.

Out of the shower, I normally plop my hair in my microfiber turban, unplop, and then run a quick part with a comb. I try not to disturb as much hair as possible with the comb. I then scrunch in my styling product(s).
