I voted that I use drugstore gels:

L.A. Looks Curls gel

L.A. Looks Wet gel? Not sure of the exact name, but it's the only clear one they have.

3B that is no longer CG, but still endeavors to have healthy hair by not using sulfates.

I had a three way tie.
Angel, Arc Angell and B&A
Maybe B&A for this time of year

I voted other--I like Graham Webb Making Waves Curl Defining Gel and BRHG. Curls Rock is my non-gel favorite.

L.A. Looks. I use the clear "wet look" one, which is a 10 hold. I've never had it make my hair look wet, but I do like it.

But to be fair, I've never tried any of the CurlMart gels...

I voted for B&A gel but I love Angell too. I tend to use Angell in the summer and B&A the rest of the time.

I went for other. I've only just started using gel and last week I picked up John Frieda Frizz Ease Style Curl Controller Corrective Styling Gel...phew!

It's really expensive, almost 5 which is probably about $10, and I have used loads already!

Works really well.

I currently use Ouidad Climate Control Gel but my favorite CurlMart gel is ArcAngell.

Thanks! Still not sure though... I just bought the blue LA Looks Gel yesterday and haven't tried that yet. Seems like B&A, ArcAngell and Angell are all pretty much tied though.

I'm using the Mop Top kids version called Fuzzy Duck right now and I think it's my current favorite....it seems to be similar to the Mop Top but with more hold. I also really like the B&A right now.

I get Confident Coils from Curlmart, but my favorite and best gel is Aubrey Organics Mandarin Magic.

LOL! I can't believe CHS Curl Keeper wasn't listed there. Anyway, that's been a staple of mine for years now.

I thought that was supposed to be more of a serum than a gel.

I'd say CK is a serum, not a gel. It didn't have anywhere NEAR enough hold to use it alone for me.

I voted Drugstore gel... I love my Herbal Essences Body Envy gel.

My desire to try B&A is really growing, though... but I don't have the money to spend on that right now.

B&A is my all time favorite gel, with Ouidad CC as a close second.

Hey Meezer,

I just checked out your Hair Scrapbook album and I love your curls!
Also I'd like your recommendations for what not to miss in your town in Florida. I am heading there next weekend for a family party, but I have a day free that I am not sure what to do. Is there somewhere that should not be missed in Punta Gorda?

Thanks!
