way too puffy

Its a cloudy, humid day and my hair is sooo puffy, I have to pull it back so it doesnt explode like a toaster oven. I used a leavein last night and its clearly not helping. I havent brushed my hair for a few days (im trying not to do that anymore). Does anyone know whats causing this and is there anyway i can fix it?

Hi! Mines like that today, its misty here, on the coast, and I think the moisture in the air is preventing my hair from drying properly which is why its frizzing. Shame, because I got up this morning, and although my hair was a mess, it didn't look frizzy, til I wet it. I think its the moisture thats the factor.

Have you tried spray gel on the humid days? I use one by Jon Frieda for curls, it has water soluble cone in, so its ok. It dries faster than gel. It dries the curls a lot harder than gel does, and even though I still scrunch the crunch out, the frizz is not as bad as when I use normal gel.

Hope this helps
