Do you use Boots in Summer? if not what do you use instead?

I love Boots for curl formation but was wondering if people find it works better in the winter cause it is heavier. if you don't use it what do you use for curl formation and if you keep using it what do you use it with?
I used boots last summer, with pretty good results. I use it with joiwhip over it. I use a pretty small amount (maybe a nickel size), so I haven't found it to weigh down my hair. I also like recoil for curl enhancement, which does not weigh down my hair at all. Recently, I've been favoring the Aveda Be Curly cream.

I actually just tried using Boots today because regular routine has NOT been working for me. So today I mixed L.A. Looks Curl gel and Boots in my hair and scrunched it in. It's still drying so, I'm not sure how the finished product will turn out, so far so good. But I'll repost later to let you know the outcome!

Okay, so it finished drying and I actually like the way that it came out. (I missed an area in back so I sprayed it with tightly wound on my lunch break, but that is my fault b/c I can't distribute product)

Anyway, The spots that I did get came out really nicely. It curled really well too! Hopefully this isn't a just a one time thing and the results will be a regular occurrence!
