Benzyl alcohol is a drying alcohol, but I'm not sure if it would matter since you're clarifying.. If you can, you should try to find one with just sodium laureth sulfate.

Sounds VERY clarifying....there is laureth AND lauryl sulphate in there too, is it not kind of harsh? Anyone an expert? I'm too noobie to know, but those 2 ingredients scare me

IT should clairfy the snot out of your hair. HAs some pretty harsh ingredients. If you're just gonna use it this once before you start CG again, I say go for it but moistuize reeeeally well afterward. For regular clarifying? I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, personally.
