Anybody else think the Suave Naturals Condishes have gotten

thicker?

I had purchased some condish when it first came out in the new packaging..

Then I got some more over the last few days, particularly the Aloe and Green Apple but they seem thicker and just for comparison, I had some of my Aloe left and squeezed some out into my hand and then did the same with the one I got tonight and it is thicker.

Do you mean since the reformulation they got even thicker? I noticed they got thicker with the new packaging, and they're too thick for me to co-wash, so I stopped using them. It'd be nice if they were thicker b/c they were more moisturizing, but it seems they moved all the good stuff lower in the ingred. list.

I haven't noticed.. I thought they've gotten kinda runny actually.

I've noticed a difference in the thickness with the new formulation...the first time I bought it, it was runny....this time, it's thicker..not as thick as white rain conditioners, but thicker...

Yea, they definitely did put the "good" stuff at the bottom of the list!

I stay the heck away from the new formulas since they're 99% crap now. I did sniff one the other day and when I squeezed the bottle I notices it seemed a little thicker but I thought maybe it was just the bottle.
I pulled out the my stash of discontinued Suave COs this week and I've been reminiscing.

No more PJ tendencies. Tigi Curls Rock Curl Amplifier is the best thing to make my curls rock all day! Next best are KCCC and Re:Coil +HE TT Gel.
Well, poo, I thought I was on to something for a minute...their various batches must just vary slightly in thickness...

I noticed too, not liking the new versions as well.

I got super lucky at Big Lots yesterday. They have bonus size 27 oz. old version of Suave Conditioners. They had my faves, Citrus Smoothie, Coconut, and Aloe. They were $1.20. I tried to restrain myself and only buy a few, but now I think I will go back and stock up some more!
Why don't you like the Suave Naturals new formula? Why are the new ones worse than the old, in your opinion, or is it the Suave brand in general that you don't like? I've read lots of raves for the Citrus Smoothie and the Aloe Vera and the Coconut. Just wondering...

I use the new suave Aloe and just love it. I don't notice much difference
I like the coconut. I'm wondering why you would want more of "the good stuff" anyway since it's just a cowash conditioner. As long as there's no bad stuff (cones, sulfates, drying alocohols), and it gets your hair clean, does it really need to have a high concentration of good ingredients? The bottle I have has these ingrededients. I bought it about a month ago and I presume it's the latest formulation. Does anyone know how it compares to the older version?

Coconut is one of my fav's too! They don't seem that much different to me as far as performance, just they seem a little thicker or something to me than the old bottles.

I used the ones I did because they were cheap but still contained beneficial ingredients. It's not a deal to me anymore if they're mostly fragrance and preservatives.
I used to like Citrus Smoothie a lot as a COwash but they changed the formula and the new one just made my hair feel... icky. The old one left me clean and refreshed.
I loved the Milk & Honey which they reformulated into crap then dropped altogether. I also loved the Mango Peach (in which the main ingredients were actually *gasp* mango and peach) but of course they discontinued that one too. Those are the only two I was able to use as an actual conditioner. I stocked up on Mango Peach when I found out it was discontinued so I've been using that again this week and still like it a lot.
Do they even make the regular aloe one anymore? The only one I've seen is Aloe & Waterlily.
I never did like the coconut so many people raved about. It kinda made me itchy and I wasn't big on the smell.
