Hello!
I'm writing from Milan - Italy (sorry for my bad English)

I read about Curlisto (control gel)and Devachan Products and they seem to be good products. What do you think about them?
I need a good product modeling my hair but not injurious.
As i have to buy them on Internet I would like to be sure of my purchase.
Please help me
Thank you veru much!!!
ciao

I use deva products and they helpmy very curly, but not, kinky hair. The cheapest way to order them is through cosmetic magic.com I don't know if they send to italy though. They have free shipping if you order $35 worth. Iuse no poo, one c, angel and set it free and my hair is great.

As a finishing gloss (after stylers and the hair has dried) a little jojoba oil makes a nice finisher for shine and softening and is grat for your hair. It's also a good leave-in on wet hair before stylers.
Some curlies really like coconut oil too. It's too heavy for my fine hair but could work well for your hairtype.

I haven't tried the Curlisto products yet but I didn't care much for the Deva products. You might get better results though.

Oyin makes some great products. They're available through CurlMart here and oyinhandmade.com (I think they do ship internationally).

I love the Jessicurl products. TooShea is a great really moisturizing conditioner. This page has some places you can shop for Jessicurl internationally:
http://www.jessicurl.com/International-p-4.html
I didn't check them all but I do know what naturalfrizz.co.uk will ship internationally if you email them for rates. Their internation shipping info and email address are on this page:
http://naturalfrizz.co.uk/index.php?...3c6a04e1755cd9

Hope that helps a little.

Hi, I have used Curlisto Control II and Structura and they are good for hold and curl definition. But other, less expensive products also are good.

Gels/hold: Jessicurl Confident Coils, Devacurl Angell, also if you have Clairol Herbal Essences or LA Looks gels, those get really good reviews and they are inexpensive.
Frizz control: CurlKeeper (www.frizzoff.com), Ouidad Climate Control, Jane Carter Solution Condition & Sculpt
Conditioners to leave in hair (moisture, soft definition): Abba Nourishing, Paul Mitchell The Conditioner, Curls Milkshake

Also I think there are many Italian, Spanish, French and UK hair products that are good that aren't available in the U.S.

I'm sure there must be good products to buy in Milan... just remember to read the ingredients and you'll be fine. The problem with recommendations from this board is that our European producs differ from their American counterparts - even products with the same name have different ingredients. If you want I could ask some friends of mine that live in or around Milan if they know of any salons or stores that specialize in curly-kinky hair.

for Suburbanbushbabe: thank you very much for the information. I also think that in Milan there are good products but there is not so a wide choice for products for curly and kinky hair. i dont' know why!?? Perhaps in Italy very curly hairs aren't so common.

For Annika: It would be great if you could ask to your friend about salons and stores specialized in curly-kinky hair products. Thanks in adcance.

thank you very much to everybody....

the pomade from pantene's texturize! line is very good! i only have to apply a little and it defrizzes my hair pretty well and leaves it nice and soft . it's cg [if that matters to you] and pretty cheap and available at any wal mart/k mart/walgreens/etc near you!

she can find them (the products) at a number of shops in the Stazione Centrale area and between Stazione Centrale, Loreto and via Benedetto Marcello. I do not know about the quality of these products, though.
I hope this helps!

The main thing is the ingredients not whether the products are specially for curly/kinky hair. Are the ingredients moisturizing, hydrating, nourishing? Do thy provide hold or enhance texture without building up in the hair?
