Suave Pro Rusk Sensories Clarifying 'poo is no more

Suave has discontinued yet another item; my Professionals Rusk Sensories Clarifying Shampoo knock-off.

So I'll need yet another clarifying shampoo recommendation.

One that states it will remove hard water minerals so I don't have to read labels looking for specific ingredients.

I'll consider the real Rusk too, if it's still made & sold, or if it's at any of the closest small Trade Secret/Beauty Express stores.

Thanks in advance!
Alright, thanks to meriellyn replying to another person's clarifying thread, I was reminded of Nexxus Aloe Rid.

That may be the answer right there. I shall see.
The VO5 kiwi lime clarifying poo seems to work good also

Cowash - No Poo, Suave Coconut
Conditioner - One Condition
Leave In - KCKT
Gel - KCCC at the moment
*Grumble, grumble*

Stupid Suave! First, they reformulate the Coconut Conditioner, and now the only cheap clarifying poo that removed hard water buildup and chlorine is discontinued.

If you don't have hard water issues, I recommend Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo (in the box). Very effective clarifying poo. It's a little on the strong side but less so than many others and very short ingred list (handy for actually removing buildup instead of adding more).
Laurabeth,

Oh, we do have hard water issues. There's crusty buildup around every faucet, nozzle & on the shower head, & inside the toilets. :x The only thing I've found to work on them is CLR or Lime Away.
removed hard water buildup and chlorine
Perhaps you've already tried this, and I know you wanted a shampoo, but...

In hairdressing school I was taught that sorbic acid dissolved in warm water is a good way - cheap and efficient - to get rid of the green hue hair can get from chlorine, and also from minerals in the water. I guess that's what LM thought of when she made the Lemon Aid recipe, but if that's not enough perhaps it's more efficient to go straight with the active ingredient (sorbic acid). Could be worth a try!

Love Jessicurl and KCCC might be my HG.

I just thought of another place to try for inexpensive hard water shampoos; Sally Beauty Supply. I believe they carry one in the Ion brand!

Never mind! I just did a search of Sally's & found these:

Three of them on the link don't say they're clarifying, but they're in the same category. What's even more confusing is one claims to be moisturizing, another claims to be hypoallergenic & the other claims to be herbal.
