Default Oprah, After the Show - hair cream, carrot?

I caught a little bit of one of Oprah's After the Show specials this afternoon but got distracted and didn't hear the whole thing.

An audience member asked about her hair and she said she used Fekkai. She then mentioned carrot something.. said it was an orange cream. Oprah said it was really good for braids, made her hair really soft. Then someone said they thought the carrot stuff was made by Loreal, but I think this is incorrect.

Anybody know what she was talking about? DH came in the door and I got distracted and didn't hear the whole conversation.

TIA

I've recently seen a product line called "Yes to Carrots." I don't know if that is what they were talking about or not. I recently posted a thread on this in the products review section asking if anyone had tried this stuff. No responses yet.

I actually caught it on TV today and she talked about Fekkai and Kerastase by L'oreal. I think it is L'oreal's expensive salon brand. But that is what they were talking about. HTH

It helps very much because I thought they said "carrot" LOL! She did say something about it being orange so they must have been talking about Keratase Elasto-Curl stuff because it's orange.

I've used carrot cream before. I found it to be kind of dry and hard to work with. Maybe if you leave plenty of water in your hair before applyying it would be easier. I've also used carrot oil. Either one is good, but what amazed me is what the carrot cream did for my hands! When I was done putting it on my hair, and rinsed my hands, it was as if they'd had a deep treatment too! Imagine what a Godsend this would be in the winter!
