#1: Great hair day today -- think it's the 777 thing?
Other people won the lottery. I had a great hair day. It's all relative. Photos in my Fotki (www link).
I did RC color today on hair I had shampooed last night, then WEN Fig after (love this stuff!) to cleanse/condition/detangle. Then Jane Carter Condition & Sculpt, then Aveda Elixir, then Angell. Squeezed hair in clumps to get out the excess product. Hood dried, stretched and fluffed.
Your hair looks great! And you're really making me want to try that Wen stuff.
What color RC do you use?
#15 Golden Beige Blonde gives me that color. I have resistant gray (actually 90% silver/white roots) and was advised to use 1-1/4 to 1-1/3 bottles to 3-1/2 oz of water for more intense color. So that is what I do. Blended with that nifty mixer it ends up being between 4-5 oz.
The WEN is great stuff; only drawback is it's tingly (menthol) so I can't use as a leave-in. Also it's so conditioning that I don't need a conditioner. So my beloved Robert Craig condish has to wait until I wash with something else.
BTW your hair looks great with that Worthington leave-in and BE gel; nice combo.
I had a great hair day, too. Tried Deva prods for the 1st time (Deva Brown Lo-Poo and One C, thanks to a great swap!) a little CK (swap as well - this place rocks!) and some LTW. Awesome hair that stayed curly all day, as minimal frizz as I can get, stood up to 90 degree weather.
2B/3A, THICK. CG since 6/5/07
Alternating Deva LoPoo/VO5 Kiwi Lime, OneC, re:coil, Alagio Curl Cream, LTW, LOOB.
Always looking to buy/swap for re:coil, Deva Brown stuff
My hair was straightened. But hey, it did stay quite straight in the ridiculously low Idaho humidity (I was visiting)! My nails also got very brittle and broke and I woke up in the morning with a dry throat, lips, etc....oh, how I love being back home in California!
