Humid good hair! (pics)
It's humid and hot today, and I've pulled off good hair using only a mix of OneC and Too Shea, with some left in. No gel, no cream stylers, no nothing. I could use a bit more curl definition and a bit less frizz - the back in particular could use a little help - but considering the weather today, this is damn good!
(please ignore the funky eyebrows - I'm growing them back in before I get them shaped again)
More pics here!

Very pretty! And very defined, especially considering you used no stylers. That's pretty impressive

I love humid - it gives me volume which lots of time I lack!!
Your hair looks great - I love the front (I am still growing out bangs - I wonder when they stop being bangs??).

Really cool hair!! Looks wonderful!
I'm growing mine out now, too, and they're driving me crazy! I have these great spirals everywhere today and then the bang mess. They're not long enough to spiral all the way around yet, so I have to keep pinning them back. The rest of my hair is spiralling into long corkscrews today; like banana curls -- I look like Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. If I stuck a great big bow to pin the bangs back, that would just really complete the goofy look.

Laughing at the thought of a gingham bow! My bangs are chin length but they still want to flop in my face - I keep thinking at some point they will realize they are not bangs anymore...right??? right??

Your HAIRS THAT ARE NOT BANGS ANYMORE should definitely realize that they're chin length hair, NOT bangs, and stay out of your face by now, I would think! This is not encouraging since I'm hoping when mine get that long, they will stay over to the side or something. My bangs are just barely to the middle of my nose; I just started growing them not too long ago. Sometimes, not very often, they'll corkscrew really good -- right down the into the middle of my eyes. What am I supposed to do with that??
Yeah, it's really funny 'cus I'm way too old for the gingham bow thing.

Wow, I had never looked at your photos before, we really do!
Where is the 3A in your hair? I see mostly 3B.
(I know for me, the underlayer is 3A or 3B depending on its mood, then I think I get a few 3Cs on the top layer on particularly curly days.)

Thanks! I've been CG for about 5 years now, and have used shampoo less times than I can count on my fingers during that time. I totally baby it. I used to have horrible hair before I figured out how to take care of it.

Mine gets straighter as you get towards the back. It's long enough now that I even have some 2 back there. It's just getting heavy.
We have texture differences, but our hair does look pretty similar!
