Jessicurl users - use something different now that it's hot?

Hi, for the last few weeks, I've been using Jessicurl's Aloeba conditioner as a leave-in , followed by Confident Coils and my hair has been coming out good. However, , now that the weather is getting warmer and humid, I've noticed my hair is getting poofier. Should I switch to gel in the summer? Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Worrying is like being in a rocking chair; it gives me something to do but it doesn't get me anywhere.

Best combo so far:
Shea moisture leave-in and BRHG
I use Too Shea as a condish (no leave in) and Rockin' Ringlets. I've noticed in the last few weeks that my hair is a little poofier then it was when it was cooler (darn humidity). What I have been doing is using a little more Rockin' Ringlets than normal. That seems to be helping.
Hair Type: mix of 3's, growing out an angled bob, color-treated red.
Current products: GVP conditioning balm for co-wash and leave in, Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle, Pattern Pusha and Garnier Anti-humidity hairspray
Location:Sunny Florida
Hair idol: Kimberly Schlapman from Little Big Town
I love CCSS but it seems that as the humidy has risen, my hair has gone limp with it. But I'm still having no problems with Aloeba as a leave-in or creams in general.
