I believe the trouble with baby shampoo is that the pH has to be majorly adjusted to make it "no more tears".

I don't use that baby shampoo, but rather the generic yellow baby shampoo once a week and I love it. It doesn't make my hair feel dry like other shampoos do. I don't really know how the adjusted pH factors in, but I'm interested if someone wants to enlighten me!

The adjusted pH is supposedly higher to make it tear free and therefore much more harsh on the hair. I really don't know how it works, I just read it on a baby shampoo thread.

If the tearless baby shampoos are harsher than regular shampoos then what shampoos are recommended for babies that do not have the adjusted PH levels? That sounds bad for are curly hair and especially for babies.
