more definition??

how do i achieve this? i started CG tonight and my hair looks really nice but it could use a bit more definition to really hold the curl and fight fly aways. so what can i do about this? or do i just use a lot more gel? i used herbal essence's totally twisted gel tonight, btw. but even before i went CG and used garnier fructis soft curl cream, i still had the same problem.

Just wondering do you use a leave in and if so what kind. Also I have found that plopping with gel or mousse in helps me with definition.

i tried plopping last night actually, but foe about five minutes. i liked, i'll keep experimenting with that. and i used to use GF's curl & shine leave-in, and that was actually very nice, but i don't think it's CG cause it has a cone.

I hate to break it to you, but it takes some time also! If you just started, your hair will probably get a little weird, and then start really coming together. It has to get 'healthy'!!

Good luck to you and keep reading. You'll get tons of info and ideas!!
