Morocco Method Lunar schedule?

Does anyone use this schedule for hair cutting?

I just made an appointment for 8/1 which is the next optimal lengthen date. Feel sort of silly but my hair grows about as fast as glaciers move. I'll try anything reasonable. Also does anyone use the shampoos? Looks like mostly soapnut; I'm interested in that an Indian herbs (bringhaj, amla, shikakai) as cleansers.

Not this particular method, but my sis trims her hair with the new moon, it's supposed to help your hair grow faster. Another woman I know that used this method when she was younger said there was a substantial difference between when she did follow it and when she did not.

I have always heard cutting hair by the moon, etc. is a myth. Though, I certainly am of the belief that we do not truly understand the healing powers of the body and that the holistic approach needs to be taken into the mainstream.

Still, though, I'm too lazy to take the holistic route on most things. Gimme quick/easy.

It sounds weird, but it certainly can't hurt. Maybe there is something to it after all.

I'm just put off by the fact that the owner seems to feel that you need to use all of the shampoos and conditioners in rotation. That is quite expensive.

My zodiac sign is Cancer, and I've always been sensitive to the moon's influence on my reproductive cycle. It certainly can't hurt. But I did get some negative feedback about the shampoos, so I won't be trying those.

I have a kitchens worth of food in my bathroom. I had to hang an extra cabinet for all my products. I walk around with bananas and avacados in my hair. I sleep with a plastic bag on my head. I get a package in the mail just about every week and it's common knowledge in my house that its the newest greatest product. I special order hair brushes off the fricken internet.

YOU KNOW I'm going to try this new calendar! Why the heck not. I can't wait to see the look on my families face when I hang it up : )

I can't wait to try to book an appt. on a 'red boxed' day and they say they've been booked since July for that day

It's not like you even have to buy the calendar. I'm taking off the afternoon from work to get my hair cut on the optimal day instead of my usual Saturday.

Reviving a long dormant thread.

I'm interested in this for my thinning hair. They have a sample pack of shampoo/conditioner plus a gel (almost all 2 oz products) for $45 which is not too bad.

Mind you I'm not looking to purchase tomorrow but my hair is so fine and thin this scalp showing through is kind of getting me down. In an odd way CG just exacerbates it as before I could brush it out and hairspray the heck out of it and it LOOKED like it was much fuller and had volume. CG doesn't let me hide it anymore. Also since my ringlet's have popped alot more the longer I do this it's even more noticable (areas where scalp shows through)

Any reviews or input would be appreciated. I know Heather0Kay uses this and gave it a thumbs up..just curious before I allocate any more $$$ out if it's worth it or not.
