Default need some sort of leave in

I have a bottle of the garnier leave in but everytime I use it (even just a tiny bit) it makes my hair greasy looking.
But my hair needs something. What about jojoba oil (just on the ends)?
Would this be too much?? Where would someone get this stuff? I don't live near a good health food store.
Any other suggestions?
Darby

I live near several health food stores.

I use jojoba. Three drops & it's plenty for my ends to mid shaft.

I also still have the majority of a bottle of ABBA Nourishing left. It's light, non-greasy, moisturizing & doesn't have much of a scent if any.

I now have a bottle of Garnier Fructis Curl & Shine, so I'll have to use it one day, the ABBA the next & so on.

Hi there:
I guess I'll have to stop in at Wild Oats next week when I'm in the city. Where I live, there's nothing. I don't like to drive the 35 miles into the city for just one thing. I guess I can wait til Monday
Let me know how you liked the garnier stuff. I used some today on DRY hair. So far, so good. It doesn't look greasy. I don't even know if I put in enough to make a difference - LOL. I just put a tiny amount in my hands and rubbed together and then scrunched in on the ends.
Hey - I went to Ann Marie yesterday for a trim. It was good as usual
She put some deva b leave in and I was all set to buy some til I read the ingredients. It has wheat protein I'm super sensitive to wheat protein.

My GF I have to mix w/ some water in the palm of my hand. Jojoba oil is still too heavy for me. I only use it at night. And I couldn't use B'Leave In b/c of the proteins. Too bad b/c it really worked nicely for the first day.

I'll be making an appointment with her for probably mid-Sept. The last I checked she still had plenty of openings for August & hadn't opened the books for Sept.

I'll have to pay attention & take notes when I use the GF. Anymore I just put whatever in & go, forgetting all about it.

So, are we going to try to get together this summer, maybe with Pookie? I haven't heard from the other gals after I last e-mailed & PM'd them so maybe it'd be just us three.

Yes, I'd like to get together.
I had to put my head in the sink and do a DT - it was a frizzy mess. I have no idea where this is coming from.
I might have made a mistake, but I put some SIF in also. It's air drying and the sides are already getting frizzy. I wonder if I'm over conditioning??
It's not soft tho.

I haven't used SIF. I think the only thing from the Deva-whatever line I've used is the gel & I don't even remember what it's called because it's been so long. Though I'm sure I'll probably feel like I have to buy something when Ann Marie does my hair.

I used the GF last night after my shower & waited for it to dry a touch. So far this is some nice stuff for my hair! If it continues working after the third time's a charm/three strikes you're out rule I try to live by, it's a keeper.

Then I added some Noodlehead. This is the second time I've used it & I'm still pleasantly surprised with it. One more try & I hope it's a keeper!

John Masters Organics has a citrus and neroli conditioner. It's great!!! Great as a leave-in--I have not used it as a wash out.

You can purchase it at Whole Foods (or large health food stores like that) here at Curlmart or google John Masters Organics and he has his own site where shipping is free.

Beauty Without Cruelty leave-in is very nice - not greasy at all, but clumps curls well and you can use a gel over or not. Also available at Whole Foods, CG and very reasonably priced.

The nearest Whole Foods stores are in Boulder, Fort Collins, Denver & Lakewood Colorado.

And before someone mentions it, the nearest Trader Joe's are in Arizona & Nevada.

Darby & I could make a road trip together!

You can get BWC at drugstore.com. That's where I got it.

We could probably get it at a local health food store. I just think a road trip would be more fun.

I like to use Jessicurl's Aloeba as a leave in. I apply a quarter-size blob to my hair right out of the shower and comb it through.
