Default Strange microfiber issue

I love my microfiber towel (aquis waffle weave) and use it every day ... and have even gotten my boyfriend (he's not curly, just likes his hair to dry fast) addicted to it.

Problem being: since I use it every day, it doesn't always dry fully and after a few days it starts to smell pretty funky. Anyone else come across this? I'm moving pretty soon and will have to start paying to do my laundry (luckily the machines are in my building, right outside my apartment actually!) but that money will add up quickly, so any suggestions for how to not have a smelly towel??

If you hang it over a towel rack, it should dry in a couple of hours. Can you hang it outside? Mine dries quickly even in the humid Bay Area.

Right now we have a towel rack that is the ring ... so the towel stays kinda bunched up, which probably doesn't help! I'm going to try hanging it on my curtain rod which is right above a window fan, so maybe that'll help me!

Sidenote - about a week ago we (me, my boyfriend, and our roommate) had to wash our rug that goes in front of the shower ... imagine my surprise when I woke up to shower after she did, and she has used my microfiber towel to step on I asked her a few days later "So, Erica ... do you realize that towel by the shower goes on my head every day?" she was very apologetic, and I can't help but forgive her since she's a straighty and must not know much about us crazy curlies and our myriad hair products/accessories!

I have the same problem w/ my micro fiber, and I've heard others complain of this as well.

OMG me too!!

The round towel rack is probably the biggest part of the problem . You'll need a new flat one, hang it over the shower rod, or maybe a drying rack. Those round ones are virtually useless.
