Default Arrojo Haircare - I am so tempted!

Nick Arrojo is on QVC now. I am so tempted to buy his curl kit for $33.00. It has a conditioner, a styling cream and a curl cream. The curl cream is a literal silicone cocktail!!! Is there a single silicone missing from this list?

NGREDIENTS: WATER (AQUA), OCTYLDODECYL NEOPENTANOATE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, CYCLOMETHICONE, VA/CROTONATES/VINYL NEODECANOATE COPOLYMER, PEG/PPG-18/18 DIMETHICONE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, CETETH-20, DIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONOL, GLYCERYL STEARATE, PEG-100 STEARATE, TRIETHANOLAMINE, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM), TETRASODIUM EDTA, MAGNESIUM ASCORBYL PHOSPHATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, ORYZA STAIVA (RICE) AMINO ACIDS, POLYPERFLUOROETHOXYMETHOXY DIFLUORETHYL PEG PHOSPHATE, STEAROYL COA-DESATURASE (SCD-1), PHOSPHOLIPIDS, HYDROLYZED OAT PROTEIN, PANTHENOL, PHOSPHORUS, MAGNESIUM ASCORBYL PHOSPHATE, CALCIUM PANTOTHENATE, MAGNESIUM SALICYLATE, ZINC GLUCONATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, METHYLPARABEN, BUTYLPARABEN, ETHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, ISOBUTYLPARABEN, LINALOOL, GERANIOL, ALPHA ISOMETHYL INONE, LIMONENE, COUMARIN, CITRONELLOL.

Decisions, decisions, decisions . . .

Holy Crap!! I was wondering what is in it. I have been watching this since it started. I really wanted to try the curly kit. I am still watching and really trying to resist it.... not sure if I can. I don't use too many cones so all those cones might freak my hair out. I just love him on What not to Wear.

If you go to his website, he posts the ingredients.

I was tempted to try his line, but not anymore. That's like nuclear curl cream

Too funny!

Or maybe "industrial strength" curl cream!

you guys are cracking me up. My temptation is passing. It's not like I need another hair care product or anything.

I love me some What Not To Wear and Nick Arrojo, but those ingredients are making me .

I don't know for sure because we're moving and I have no teevee right now, but if he's on QVC right now, he's up against WNTW, at least on my schedule.

Yip, you are right. I was gonna watch WNTW but I saw she wasn't a curly so I watched QVC instead. I did however flip when the commercial was on (up coming products)... I figured I could watch it tomorrow since they always repeat the episode Saturday afternoon.
Brio, my temptation has gone as well. I am now thinking of stopping by Sallys tomorrow instead.

His hair looks so fine textured - can he even use his own curl cream without really weighing his hair down?

I don't know. He did mention on the QVC show that his hair is super fine. He recommended using the styling cream to get volume & hold and use the curl cream to enhance curls. He said if you had really curly hair, to use the co as a leave-in and skip the curl cream since you don't need curl enhancement. (I think I got this right.)

I saw it too and was wondering if the ingredients were nuclear and apparently so. I do wonder why they show the befores looking soooo horrid? It's like they are freaking mug shots!

Wow. Between the silicones, proteins, and five parabens I wouldn't touch that curl creme with a 10-foot pole.

And what baffles me is that the daily conditioner has better ingredients than the moisturizing conditioner (isopropyl alcohol's in it). It's just going to perpetuate the dryness cycle.

I don't understand that isopropyl alcohol thing, either. It's also found in the B2B peach pom new formula. (or was it with you I was already discussin this?)

I've never tried B2B Peach Pom, but from what I heard, the old formula was great and they had to mess it up by changing it. Us curlies/wavies seriously need to be ingredient sleuths to find good products. :|

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen "-cone" / "-xane" so many times on one bottle. Ever.

The only cone I didn't see was amodimethicone...but since that's one of the easier ones to get out, I guess he decided to skip it.
