Default I can't sleep with styling products in my hair..weird?

I am so paranoid about the residue causing breakouts on my skin overnight, that I won't go to sleep with gel, leave-in conditioner, or anything in my hair. Is that weird, or do any of you do this also? I started taking showers in the morning again and it's messing me up because I haven't been using any styling aids because I don't want to have to rinse my hair again at night. Please tell me I am not the only crazy one here who is like this? lol. My skin is very prone to breakouts so I have to be very careful about what gets on it. And leaving products in my hair overnight always seems to give me new breakouts and bumps on my scalp. I wish my skin wasn't so finicky. Then I wouldn't have this problem

Yeah when it's dry. I am so neurotic lol. I've tried wearing my hair up but I always get breakage because I move around so much. I've tried using soft scrunchies and everything. Plus parts of my hair still touch the pillow and then my face ends up on those parts

I believe there are satin bonnets that you can buy and tie so your hair doesn't touch the pillow or your face

The night after a salon appoinment, when my hair has a ton of product in it, I feel the same way.

The problem is that the product rubs off on the pillow and you're afraid that it's going to get on your face and cause a breakout, right? I agree with JuicyTube - you should definitely buy a cap that you can wear at night.

Amazed that I finally found a method that works for my hair! Diffuse until 60-70% dry, then let air dry for about an hour. Scrunch and leave it alone!
