I watched, and also hated the cut. Although, it looked a lot better when she styled it herself, the day she showed Stacey and Clinton her outfits.

I think Nick is so convinced he has to do a dramatic change on EVERYONE that even if someone already has nice hair and doesn't need much of a change (like this girl - I thought her hair was adorable before) he always makes a huge change anyway. And a lot of times, it means going super-short. Some people look great with short hair, but some look a lot better with longer hair.

If he wanted to do something dramatic with this girl, maybe he could have kept her cut similar and just added dramatic highlights or something?

I did think that the girl was very classy in how she reacted though. She didn't lie and say she loved it, but she kept her composure and didn't bash Nick either.

I thought her hair was cute, but it was obvious she didnt' like it. I don't think it was the blue underneath that she didn't like. I mean, you couldn't really see it. It's not like he shaved the sides, he actually shaved the sides underneath where her hair would fall. I think it was supposed to help the shape of the cut.

I think they were trying to feed into her punk style but keeping it modern and fashionable. What they were giving her was a mod 60's look. Kinda like Twiggy, or Edie Sedgewick. I thought it was really cute.

I thought that haircut looked terrible. It reminded me of one of those boy cuts mothers used to do by just sticking a bowl on the kids head and cutting around. And shaving the side of her hair and dying it blue.. what was that? At least if it had been both sides it may have made more sense and she could have pinned it back to show off. The poor girl looked like she was fighting back tears. Usually I like his haircuts but this was just a big mistake. He should have realized it, admitted it and fixed it for her right there and then.
