Hair Cut Help

I posted this on the 3A board as well but since this one gets more traffic I am hoping I will get more advice/thoughts, etc. Thanks!

I think I have had enough of fighting the longer hair. I don't want to go as short as the one photo in my fotki so I am on the hunt for a hair style. I will try to look for photos but I will also try and describe. I have it to be around middle neck length - around ear length on the side. I have fine/thin hair so I dont always need layers. I don't want bangs. I am thinking a cut about that length with maybe 1 or 2 shorter layers on the side and back. I would like the hair to just go back off my face.

Does any of that make sense? I am off to hunt for photos.

What do you think? These are close to what I am thinking of.

I don't have any suggestions, but my favorite of the pictures you've posted is the last one. It's such a cute cut!

I love the last one, but be careful with getting shorter layers on top if you have a straightis/wavier underlayer. I have similar hair to you, and I was thinking of getting a longer version of the last cut.
Thanks Ladies! Typically every stylist I have ever been to has always cut my underneath straighties on the back a bit shorter than the rest - that way hopefully they can hide up under the curls.

I think I will print these and bring them when I go for my hair appt - see what they think!

I have a haircut scheduled next week and am trying to figure out what to tell the stylist.

Thanks!

I do have layers - you can check out my fotki. In some of the pictures you can see some of the straighter pieces. What they do is that portion of the back that is straighter than the top layer of hair they have always just cut a bit shorter so when it goes straight it does not stick out under the curly part. I hope that makes sense.
