?Product to weigh down hair?

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a product that you apply when hair is wet to weigh down the curl so it doesn't curl up so much when it drys. I went to the store and most of the products said "weighless hold" on them. I know that would work for most people, but my hair needs to be tamed!! Let me know if what products you would recommend. Thanks!
What is your hair type/curl type?

W/out knowing more, I'd suggest a heavy cream (like Curls Whipped Cream) and a heavier gel (like fantasia ic) or a strong hold gel (like Dep or LA Looks).
3b (with 3c tendencies) on modified CG

my hair is 3b. What products weigh down hair without looking wet when dry or crunchy?

Some people get weighed down by using very heavy conditioners that are oild heavy.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.

my Crown-N-Glory
LA Looks Sport, Activate Straightening Cream, and especially Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding can help with elongation and weighing down of hair.

You can also just leave a ton of a thick conditioner (One C, Too Shea!, B2B Pom, etc) in your hair to weigh it down.

CoN green, HE hello hydration, burt's bees super shiny condish, & KCCC.

mostly 3b, mod CG

Smiles are free, so give them away.

Celebrate we will, 'cause life is short but sweet, for certain.
I have to also recommend Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding. It's kind of expensive, but my 3b hair has really been doing well with it. I have to weigh down the back of my hair, it's a little more 3c, so I've been using a lot of it back there.

I put a gel over it, then when it's dry, I scrunch out the crunch from the gel .
3B, with some 3C
