Short Cut-YIKES! Photos of new Do!
Ok...I did the short cut last night. I like it but it will take a bit getting used to it - less product and all that! I also didn't plop because I was afraid the shorter hair might not like it.
Ignore the scary morning face!
Check out my Fotki!
ETA - to take out links as they are being a pain!

I was just about to message you! It looks good!! I know what you mean about the straighter underlayer. What i used to do was take a round brush to that section to curl it under and blend it. I'm still on the fence about chopping. My only concern is missing being able to pull it back.

WOW! I love the new shorter cut! It frames your face very well (looks great with those snazzy frames too) and looks healthy and bouncy. I have much looser curls on one side and part my hair slightly differently to help balance out the curls.
But underneath is a much easier place to hide straighter pieces--especially since your stylist can clip them shorter so they hide underneath and no one is the wiser (unlike if the straighter pieces were on top).
I know cutting length off can be a shock. Been there! I'm voting that the new cut looks awesome! (Oh, and if that's your morning face, I'm jealous!)

Thanks ladies! She actually did cut the straighties shorter but I think I got the curlier section to curl up more so they snuck out! Oh well.
Yes, the shorter cut is a bit of a shock but I like it. My stylist is the cutest thing ever and boy does she take her time. I was there two hours! She said she is obsessive when doing the deva cut and just loves looking at each curl and figuring out what to do with it.

OK, are you trying to be my hair twin? I just got mine cut short last weekend. It's actually a little shorter than yours. It takes a little getting used to, doesn't it? It looks good though, I'm sure you'll love it.

How did you know?? BUSTED! Heck we both have the dog avatars too Every time I look in the mirror it's odd. This is the first time I have had shorter hair that was cut as a curly style - so that makes it better. By the way - I dont remember seeing photos of your cut????

Thanks JuicyTube. That is why I was asking about DTs the other day. I keep wondering if I need to do one or if I should do one but my hair is not like most curlies - it's really not that dry. I rarely get split ends. The only 'bad' thing I do to it is I diffuse daily but only for about 10 minutes.

It looks WONDERFUL! You've got great curl with it short. If I could get curls like yours with it that short, I would wack mine off in a second. But, mine gets curlier the longer it gets, so I've resisted...............so far. I'm getting so tired of the hours of wet hair before it finally dries that one day it's going to get the axe!

Thanks MsG!
It's still kinda wacky - it's like my hair has not quite figured out its shorter yet. And I have to figure out how much product to use again. I am not sure I will keep it this length but it's nice for change and it got rid of any bad ends - that's for sure!

You look great with your new cut! I like it! I just got a cut yesterday very similar, but mine touches just below my shoulders in the back. I haven't had it this short in almost a year, but I used to always keep it this way before. It takes getting used to.

For some reason I'm just seeing those little red "x"s and not the pictures, do you have them in your Fotki?
I'd love to see shorter hair pics...
