No leave in conditioner for my hair. When I first started modified CG I did but now it just leaves my hair stringy or greasy.

I use Re:coil under my Angel or CK under my Boots.

Since June I've been mixing leave in or a curl creme with my gel, not seperately. I just swirl them together in my hand and apply. No matter what gel I'm using, I'm able to scrunch out the crunch to soft touchable hair. I'm an 80's girl, so I won't use/do anything to weigh my hair down!!

Thought I'd post an update -- day before yesterday, I tried using the GF C&S before applying my gel and while I wasn't as crunchy, my hair was much stringier and droopy on the ends. This morning, I used Re:Coil under Abba WG and so far, so good. I ended up with very little crunch and good curls. My only complaint is I've lost some volume, so I'll have to tweak this some more and see how it does.
