I need product everyday or my hair would look like the bride of Frankenstein!
I have gone product free after washing and doing a DT if I'm just gonna bum around at home all day. But then, I pull it back into a bum to keep from scaring my family

When I'm out, I pretty much use product everyday. Sometimes I only use a leave in if I'm planning on putting my hair up, but I don't know if that counts as not using product?

3B that is no longer CG, but still endeavors to have healthy hair by not using sulfates.

the only time i don't put product in my hair is if i'm sick, or if i'm in a hurry and just braiding it up in pigtails and wearing a cap, but sometimes I will put some kind of moisturizing product in it (BC soft curls or milkshake) but i never leave my hair out and productless - that would be too much pain in the shower trying to comb it the next day

I try to go without gel on the weekends. More to save money than any other reason. I use a leave in every day though regardless. I try to save my Deep treatments (and rare shampooing) for the weekends too. Mostly because I can leave them in for longer.

sometimes to varying degrees if I don't plan on going out and on those blah days. Some days I'll just use leave in. I always feel a good hair and using products (sometimes) on a day when my biggest event is cleaning the bathroom is a waste.

On days I know I am not going outside of the house, I'll let my hair air dry naturally without products. Otherwise I HAVE to have products and diffuse or my hair will be a big frizzy undefined curly mess.

Rarely put anything in my hair.

I'm not a very good curl-caretaker.

I have braid extensions in now, so I don't really apply products. But when my hair is loose, I apply products everyday.

I occasionally go with only a leave in. Here's what my hair looks like without styling products:

That is a picture of me growling at my boyfriend. It was taken on a day when all I did was slop some Giovanni Direct Leave-in in my hair and scrunch with a microfiber towel. Isn't it ridiculous that I remember that, yet I have no recollection of why I happened to be growling at him? It looks curlier than that now that I got it cut and layered.

Occasionally I do feel this way, but more often I see staying-around-the-house days as opportunities to try new and possibly insane new styling products or techniques. So I tend to actually use *more* products on those days, rather than less!

And good hair is never a waste in my opinion! If nothing else, maybe I'll figure out what works and I can repeat it the next time I'm going out and need fabulous hair.

Yeah well I just went a week without conditioning and shampooing or putting product in and my hair at the end of the week was the frizziest and out of control hair ever. When I finallly washed it, it was like going through a forest and i had all these hairs everywhere. Cause I think all the hairs your supposed to shed stay in with curly hair people and I had all these hairs like sitting and addding up, it was gross.

I would look like Albert Einstein without product...why I'm a product junkie. Only time I don't use product is if I'm wearing a headband, but even then I fluff hair out and soften it with a bit of Set it Free and Soft Curls & Swirls.

Default do you go any days with no product?

I only apply product(LA Looks Curl)after getting my hair wet, which is only once or twice per week with shampooing and conditioning(I'm not on CG). In between times, I just spritz with water to reactivate my gel. The only time I really go productless for a day is the day before I color my hair, since one isn't supposed to have any gel or anything in the hair before coloring. I hte the way my hair looks with nothing in it - it just poofs out, and there's no nice clumping of curls either. Gel is my best friend, and I'm so glad LA Looks is cheap, as I use plenty!

oh I still do alot of experimenting, but I suck at it, so more times then not it ends up a disaster. Haven't done it in a while lately, been lazy.
