I rarely straighten my hair anymore. Last year, I discovered the wonders of a steaming flat iron, and became a straightening addict. I came out to college, but left the flat iron at home (no room in my luggage), fully intending to buy another. I never did.
I have straightened my hair only once in the past 6 months or so, but I would probably do it more often if I owned my own flat iron. But, straightening really trashes my hair, which is why I gave my straightening iron to the thrift store...
