anyone use Miss Jessie's curly pudding?

Hello,
I have thick, coarse, shoulder length hair. I used Miss Jessie's curly pudding today and though the curl is stretched out (which I wanted), my hair is frizzy, dry and kinda tangly! How much should I use (I used about a tablespoon) and should I use anything with it? Thanks!

I find that I have to use a lot, and I use it with a gel and a bit of conditioner to keep it soft, because it can be drying. Unfortunately, I can't use it anymore because of all the mineral oil. :(

I use about 2 tbsp, and make sure to use a leave-in under it because it is drying. Don't know about the new formula yet, though.

I started using Miss Jessie's curly pudding about a month ago and really like it. I liked it so much, I recently splurged and bought the really big jar. It makes my hair very soft and elongates the curls in the back of my head so they don't shrink up as much. I use Devacurl OneC as a leave in, then I use quite a bit of Miss Jessie's curly pudding (at least 4 tablespoons) and rake it through all of my hair (shoulder length - 3b). I then put some gel over it. Once it's all the way dry (I usually diffuse), I scrunch the gel crunch out.

I haven't had any problem with dryness as of yet. People keep telling me I smell nice recently, and I haven't changed anything except using Miss Jessie's, so I'm thinking that has to be it. :drunken:

Today, I tried Re:coil for the first time. I used my leave-in conditioner and then the re:coil. I really like it, nice soft curls, but they certainly aren't elongated. They are very springy! I have a little bit of frizz, so I might try some gel over it next time.
