Default Similar product to Curls Rock?

I love the look I get from Curls Rock Cream but hate the feel on my hair. Any other products that provide the same curl definition but don't leave hair so coated feeling?

Is curls rock "approved" by the CG-method?
Which one of the curls rock products do you have, and what kind of curls do you have? Im thinking about buying Curls rock, is just a bit curious

I get great curl definition with it but it's hard to spread in your hair and if you don't spread it enough, you'll have white blobs when it dries (why I stopped using it).

I used CR before I went the CG way and the closest thing I have used is LOOB (l'oreal Out of Bed). I have been using it for probably a week or so and am keeping this in my rotation for sure.
