Default Quidad cuts and product-Please comment

Hello All,

I met a Curly Girl yesterday who had AMAZING hair. She told me she travels to Manhattan(from Long Island) twice a year to get it cut at Quidad salon. She also uses only Quidad products. Has anyone used Quidad products and/or gotten their haircut there? Please comment.

Thanks!

I've never gotten a Ouidad cut before but I do use Ouidad Climate Control Gel and it rocks! It is kind of pricey but so worth it. I live in a humid area and this controls the frizz better than anything I've ever tried.

I've gotten my hair cut their twice. Both times I ended up with a nice (not earth shatteringly amazing) cut and a big hole in my wallet. Basically I think you can get the same cuts for less money. It is a pretty nice salon and i felt very taken care of when I was there. Staff is also very profesional.

I'm sory, I should have mentioned that I'm not CG. My hair seems to love this product though, cones and all!

I've used the playcurl volumzing shampoo, conditioner and mousse in the past. I'm a mod CG now so I try to keep cones and sulfates to a minimum. I liked the products, definitely adds volume and I believe the condish has wheat protein

I spray the botanical boost on my daughter's hair after her swim class and it's a great detangler. I never like the stiffness or smell of there finishing spray.

I recently got a cut, Ouidad's method of slicing and carving. I never like my hair for two weeks after the cut, but now that it's had a chance to grow a little, I like it. HTH.

If you're protein sensitive, be careful and read the labels - alot of her stuff has proteins in them.

Default Thanks Girls

I appreciate all the feedback so far. Last night I ordered the Remedy Line Sampler Kit from Ouidad(Deep Treatment, Climate Control Gel, Botanical Boost, Water Works, and Summer Shield.) I'll check back to give feedback on the products. I figured it would be a good idea to test the products on my hair before shlepping into the city for a haircut.

Great idea! That's exactly what I did when I decided to try Ouidad. Hope you like them!

i shlep to NYC to get a devachan haircut once a year and they are worth it. i used some of the ouidad stuff for a while, liked one of the gels but too pricey for my now quite long hair which needs daily doing as i swim. now i use drugstore products which give me very similar results! never tried ouidads cuts as my hair is too thin for carving and slicing. i have heard this works much better on THICK hair.
