I use 1/4 of a cup mixed with about 1-1 1/2 cups of warm water and pour it over wet, freshly washed hair. I let it sit and get the length in the cup of some of the mixture for about a minute or two. Then I rinse it out.

I do a vinegar rinse every couple weeks. I pour a big mug of warm water mixed with about 1/2 cup of vinegar over wet hair and massage my scalp.
Then I rinse and condition wash.
