So I've been a curlygurl all summer, and I love it. You guys have really unleashed the curly tigress in me and for that, I'm entirely grateful!

Now, though, I feel as though I need a change. I've got just-beyond-the-shoulder botticelli/corkscrews... maybe a 2 or 3B or so. With a side-part, I can get rid of the midday pyramid style... but I'm wondering if there's a haircut that I could get to really make things interesting. I don't want to go too short, and I'm told that layers=frizz.

Any takes?

Most people find that long layers (meaning not much distance between the longest and shortest layers) give the hair shape and prevent pyramid-head. Also, avoid razor cuts, and avoid the use of thinning shears.
