What did you do to your hair today?

Did you get any hold with it? When I used it, I had the frizziest hair I've ever had -- got curl, but SOOO frizzy. I don't think I used near enough. I'm afraid it might be too producty if I put gel over it.

Wet hair, put in activate, rinsed it out. Put in BWC Leave-in and curl keeper and then skip curled my hair.

I got really good hair today.
Yesterday before dinner I did my hair:
CO-washed using Activate; Detangled with AO Honeysuckle Rose CO, rinsed out right-side up and then upside down, raked & smoothed in more as my leave-in upside down. Smoothed & scrunched in some LOOB, then a little LA Looks Durahold. Scrunched with MF towel, added a little more gel, then plopped for 30 minutes (while rolling out homemade pasta dough ) Unplopped, shook a little, made dinner, and left hair alone for the rest of the evening. Before bed, decided to diffuse til mostly dry. Hair looked really good then; pineappled, and in the morning, really nice hair. I got curl higher up than usual and a lot of spirals and volume. LOOB still gives me the best spirals, and I think it works better for me now that I use lots of oils so my hair isn't so dry.
2-something? Coarse, medium underneath. Mid-back. On CG since 5/9/07.
Washing COs: VO5 Blackberry, Suave Cherry
Detangle and leave-in: Sally's GVP Conditioning Balm -- I found my HG CO!
Seal with camellia oil
Leave-in: Aura cherry almond
Gels: Homemade FSG, Eco-styler
Plus: SOTC or smooth with camellia oil, JC Nourish & Shine
Homemade food-based DTs
RC color
Just cowashed today, detangled, and did my own version of plopping.
Today I went all out. I started with CJ moisturizing shampoo followed by Deep Fix and my heat cap. Then I pulled out my comb and gave it a fierce detangling session. Then more DT and heat cap. Finally I rinsed, used Elucence as a leave in then applied Oyin Shine and Define.
4a, natural for 5 years
Poo: Still on the lookout!
CoWash: Also need a good one. Recently restarted this.
RO Conditioner: EMB but looking for something with more detangling power
DC: CJHB
LI: EMB
Style: CJCCCC, HESMU spray gel
yesterday co-washed with John Masters Rosemary Mint, oil rinse-out with Tamanu oil, rinse out condition with more JM, leave in Knot Today, finish with KCCC. Today -- did nothing. Will scrunch in some Set it Free + Qhemet Heavy Cream.

scrunched out any crunch

If I'm Going To Have A Bad Hair Day, It Might As Well Be In Aruba!

Did an overnight DT with Ojon, slept with my hair in two buns near my ears (the only way to get my short hair up)
Pooed with Dove Cool Moisture
Condished with AOHR
Pink Boots and HEBE and SiF.

Really soft hair. It turned out a little fluffy in front, may not have gelled it enough.
Location: North NJ or NYC
Yesterday rinsed out an overnight DT of Devacurl and Honey, experimented with a mix of shea butter, coconut oil, and diluted trader joe's nourish as a leave in. It left it on the dry side so I think today I'll rewet it and twist it up.
yesterday- hot oil tx and deep cond. tx. leave in- oyin whipped pudding and more oil. flat twist and wore twist out today.

I am doing a deep conditioning treatment with Coconut Milk and VO5 Tea Therapy CO for the first time. I poured the Milk over my hair (leaned over the tub) and rubbed into my hair and scalp. So far, my scalp feels nice and it's only been sitting in for 5 minutes! I hope I will have nice results. In a couple of hours I'll CO wash and possibly do some two-strand twists and let airdry for tomorrow.
Mostly 4a..crazy hair

Currently using: 100% Aloe Vera Gel , VO5 Conditioners for Co-Washes, Jojoba and Africa's Best Oils, GV Biolage Conditioning Balm , Cream of Nature Detangling Shampoo, ACV rinses, Herbal Tea Rinses (rarely), Alba Botanica Leave-in

Goal: healthy hair and longer hair

Washed with suave ocean breeze.
Conditioned with B2B Pom Peach.
Smoothed in some Deva B-Leave in(first time using)
Added a dollop of citre shine curl boosting gel/shook my hair.

Let air dry and viola! Pretty natural looking hair today.

I feel bad for making another one of these, but I tried something different!

shampoo with magick botanicals oil free fragrance free
condition with magick botanicals oil free fragrance free
leave in MOP leave-in conditioner

Result: super soft hair!

Shampooed. Deep treated. Used Herbal Essences Body Envy Gel. My hair looks & feels like a grease pile. OK, maybe it's not that bad, but it's limp & lank BLAH! I blame the deep treatment.
CO w/ TJ nourish, condish with a palmful of TS, didn't rinse, plopped in a tshirt. I tried to go productless. Won't be doing this anytime soon. I feel like I forgot to put on clothes today.

It took 6 hours to dry, my scalp is greasy & my ends are frizzed. Ick.
