Default Jessicurl shampoo is weighing my hair down- help!

Hey guys,
I have been using the GLS about twice a week, and my hair feels so greasy and my scalp feels coated and yucky...I have fine hair, and its short, so I'm thinking its too heavy for my hair? My hair has never been color treated, and my biggest complaint is volume probs sometimes....Any suggestions? What about ouidad playcurl volumizing shampoo? I was using garnier fructis curl/wave shampoo up until a few months ago, when I realized it was totally stripping my hair

How about elucence clarifying shampoo? It cleans my hair pretty well, and its only $6 on curlmart, here's the ingredients:

Main Ingredients: White Willow Bark extract, Honey, Wild Yam, Sage, Green Tea, Wheat Germ, Guar, Biotin (vitamin H) Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), and Sodium Myreth Sulfate).

I also like Dove Sheer Moisture Shampoo, which does have SLES but isn't too harsh for my hair.... and you can get it in drugstore.

Or perhaps plain old baby shampoo? It's very gentle. It has glycerin, but not any oils. And if you don't like it on your hair, you can always use it as a body wash:-)

Ingredients for J&J: Water, PEG 80 Sorbitan Laurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Glycerin, Lauroamphoglycinate, PEG 150 Distearate, Sodium Laureth 13 Carboxylate, Fragrance, Polyquaternium 10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quaternium 15, Citric Acid, D&C Yellow 10, D&C Orange 4

I was thinking of using baby shampoo- I used to use that in college and I remember liking it- don't know why I stopped! Thanks

I wasn't able to use the GLS, either -- all the Jessicurl products have too much oil for my hair.

I'm not able to use Jessicurl products either. It left an oily film on my hair and I had too use a clarifying shampoo to get it off.

I second the recommend for EMBS, Eluence Moisture Benefits Shampoo, it's cheap and cleans with a gentle sulfate.

I guess maybe fine stranded curlies aren't are a good match for jessicurl...I love the way her stuff smells though I've been using the shampoo as a body wash

Hey, that's an excellent idea! Now I won't have to trash mine.
