Curl Keeper 1st timer

I just used Curl Keeper on my 3b & c shoulder length hair for the first time today and I have to say I'm impressed. I used a little Re:coil over it because I couldn't chance a complete disaster on a work day .

I definitely have less frizz, in fact, very little at all. My hair is a little flatter than usual, I'm still trying to master the clips, but it looks nice today. I just went to lunch and got a compliment on how my curls were so nice and not frizzy at all.

So, my new best combo is:
Devacurl No-poo
Devacurl OneC (as a leave in)
Curl Keeper
Re:coil or Gel

I'll see how it goes as I keep using it.

By the way, does anyone use Curl Keeper without any gel or other hold product? thanks.
3B, with some 3C
I use it alone without anything . I just started using it and I too like it a lot.
I also use it alone. I love it!

I use it alone too. I just use a ton and squish it into my hair.

Ok...for those of you that use CK alone....do you think substituting KY and using it alone would work the same? I got some CK on the way but it is expensive. In general it doesn't take much to make my crunchy so I may be able to use it alone...but quite a bit of it. f that's the case I may be looking for a cheaper alternative when the bottle is gone...

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.
Ok...so I got my CK...I used some last night after my shower. I still left a bunch of conditioner in and used some CK..not too, too much but quite a bit and good two puddles. Then I spritzed my homemade spray and plopped a little. Well the curls came out very defined and shiney, not to mention frizz-free. It was still crunchy...I got it out, or most of it, but I think I used too much. So I did it again this morning, right now my hair is still wet so we'll see how it turns out, I used a lot less CK it would be great if I could get away with using just a little, and maybe even substituting KY. If the KY doesn't work then I am sure I can manage to buget a bottle of CK every once in awhile, if I only have to use such a small amount.

Brown&Curly - I don't know that you'd really save any money using KY instead. The KY liquid comes in a little 5 oz bottle at the most, and its like $10-$12. Compared to 8oz of CK for $14, the KY is actually more per ounce. Plus, you can get CK in a liter bottle and save even more.

Have you watched the online video by Jonathan Torch on using CK and styling your hair? If not its on their web site ... www.frizzoff.com
