Garnier Fructis leave-in for Curls & Waves- at first I liked it becasue it defined my curls, but it leaves this really gross white residue. Not even hours into the day, it's there immediately. It also didn't do anything for softness.

Curls Rock Curl Amplifier- makes curls look great, but very crunchy! I was dissapointed because it's expensive, and I asked this girl with the MOST beautiful hair what she used, and she said this...maybe I used too much?

Dumb Blonde Conditioner- at first I really liked it, but after a couple uses my hair was VERY dry.

Mane & Tail Conditioner- I heard raves about this, but when I used it it's as if I didn't use anything at all.

I think that so far, the #1 worst hair product is the Mane 'N Tail Condish.

FREAK! You must be a horse. Haha, just kidding.

But seriously, maybe we're all using it wrong. Maybe we all used too much.

Is Mane and Tail the shampoo that they use on horses? I know it has a picture of a horse on it and I remember in blades of glory when Will Ferrel said he used it.
It kind of makes sense since horses have really pretty (straight) hair.

Yeah, it's made for horses, but now people use it too. On the bottle it has directions for both human and animal use.

I am a horse!!! lol j/k. I use the kind you can get at Wal-Mart. I think the bottle is white and the label is blue and yellow. I've liked it so far.

Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray. My hair looked and felt like I'd been lost at sea for years. YUK!

Unfortunately, one of the worst hair reactions I had was to Deva One C conditioner. My hair was a frizzy rat's nest for a week after using it! Weird cause so many people love it.

I once tried John Frieda's Frizz-Ease before I learned about the CG routine. My hair was a wicked, tangled, dry, frizzy rat's nest within a week.

Forgot all about John Freida's Frizz Ease hair serum. Awful stuff. Made my hair greasy and did nothing for for curls or frizz that I recall. I used it for quite awhile in high school because at the time they didn't make much else to help with curls and at the time everyone said it was the best. Of course that was way before I found this board

Default Marc Anthony blecch...

"Strictly Curls by Marc Anthony shampoo and condish. That stuff was horrible. I used it once, hated it so much that I threw it away."

Uggggh, another Marc Anthony victim!!! I used the MA Strictly Curls spray and the"curl shaper lotion" and they were HORRID. My hair looked like children had been playing it with all day!! Awful, awful stuff. I still shudder when I see it in the CVS hair-care aisle.

Also L'Oreal's "Springing Curls" mousse, which turned my hair into a pile of iron sausages. Do they even make this anymore??

Eww, I tried that FrizzEase serum once, too -- it was disgusting, just in my hands! It was hard to get out of that dropper thing, it didn't distribute at all in my hair & made it a big sticky dull mess. I forgot about that one.

I remembered another one. Bumble & Bumble Curl Counscious Creme. Blech. I used the one for fine hair, and it was still so heavy and greasy. Made me look like I had slathered my head in oil, and I only used one dollop. I can't imagine what the one for thick hair is like.

Frizz Ease Serum is garbage. My curls were limp, greasy and even frizzier!

And John Frieda's Dreamcurls Spray? GAR-BAGE! That crap left my curls stringy, stiff and sticky. Disgusting.

The Got2Be gel someone mentioned earlier was utter crap too. My hair had a horrible reaction to it. Looked like a bale of hay sitting on my head.

VO5 Strawberries and Cream Conditioner. I tried it because I *loved* the Creamy Fresh Peaches Conditioner. The S&C ruined my hair and I gave it to my mom to use. I know a lot of curlies love the S&C but I think VO5 discontinued the wrong one!

Charles Worthington's straightening balm. NASTY. It smelled like an 80 year old man's aftershave and left a waxy film on my hair after blow drying. So gross.

Um...God there's been SO many products over the years that sucked hardcore that I can't even think of any more LOL.

John Frieda's Frizz Ease Shampoo and Conditioner-regular formula was the worst stuff ever! I HATED how heavy it was. My hair felt totally coated. It was hard to get out. Plus it really did not do anything for preventing frizz. What an awful product. That product turned me off from using anything John Frieda.

Sunsilk is definetly not my favourite.
It just makes my hair dry and my scalp red and itchy

I believe they do, but the whole line has been repackaged. I actually used to use it in High School, but at the time it worked well.

ugh john frieda.... his curl spray was the worst and his "moisturizing" shampoos? forget it! unless you go for that charming bird's nest look.... even his color glazes leave your hair feeling like straw. how is that ppl are allowed to make crap products?

Let's see...The garnier leave in for curls is the most recent, I tried it hoping to get something cheap and local that worked, and instead I got hard, dry, plastic curls! Not sexy to say the least.

I also didnt like Nature's Gate Aloe Condish...it did well the first time but after that it made my hair dry and tangled.
