Is there a shampoo chronicles?

I'm looking to find all the low-sulfate, cocamidopropyl & coco betaine, etc. no sulfate (SLS, ALS, etc.) cleanser shampoos that are gentle, yet not so gentle it feels like I can't rinse it off my hair.

It's been a while since I used Neutrogena Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo, but I remember it being gentle, yet not hard to rinse out. It contains:

Water , Sodium Trideceth Sulfate , Sodium Lauroamphoacetate , Sodium Chloride , Cocamide MEA , Meadowfoam Seed Oil Limnanthes Alba , Olive Fruit Oil Olea Europaea , Panthenyl Ethyl Ether , Sodium Benzotriazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate , Polyquaternium-7 , Amodimethicone , Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride , Castor Isostearate Succinate , Dimethiconol , Sweet Almond Oil Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis , Phenoxyethanol , Methylparaben , Propylparaben , Cetyl Alcohol , Guar Gum Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba , Citric Acid , TEA Dodecylbenzenesulfonate , Fragrance

I bought a bottle of Organix Vanilla Silk today at Target. I haven't used it before & hope it's gentle, yet not too gentle. It contains:

Water, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, COCAmidopropyl Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycol Distearate, Dimethicone Copolyol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cocamide, DEA, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Polyquternium-11, Hydantoin, Silk Amino Complex, Vitamin B-5, Organic Vanilla Bean Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Fragrance.

I don't trust any of the Avalon or Aubrey Organics shampoos. I've tried one or more of each & they're not gentle. They're like using a clarifier.

I've also tried baby shampoos & they're not gentle either. They're also like using a clarifier.

I tried Jessicurl Gentle Lather Shampoo & it was too heavy for my hair.
The girl that did hte conditioner chronicles she was going to do a shampoo chronicles but hten she decided against it because it would be too damaging for her hair I think she wrote it in the forum for comments about hte conditioner chronicles.

I found that I liked mop top shampoo I forget the name but they only have one and burt and bees shiny shampoo didnt dry my hair out either but I am not sure if its totally sulfate free.

I really like Abba Nourishing Shampoo. It's sulfate free & very gentle - even feels moisturizing when I'm using it. Have you tried any of the Nature Gate poos? I've also had pretty good luck with NG Aloe & Lavender poo.

I love EMBS, it's a gentle sulfate poo. And it's cheap compared to other salon shampoos.

UPDATED: I no longer love EMBS, I have a protein sensitivity, current favorite poo is GLS, but I'm going to order a sample of HCC from Jessicurl to try out soon.
2b/3a.
I tried the Vanilla Silk Organix & it made my hair squeak when I rinsed it out all the way. But for some strange reason, my hair didn't have the stripped feeling that normally comes with shampoo that makes my hair squeak.

I'm going to try their Coconut Milk next. Those are the only two the Target nearest me sells. And they only sell the shampoo & conditioner of each "flavor", nothing else.
I'm bumping this up in case others might have recommendations for low cleansing type shampoos.

I think I'm still going to try the Deva Care or Curl Low Poo.
I just started using Cream of Nature. I'm not sure if there is much difference between the one in the red & white bottle, and the one with the green and white bottle. I have the red & white. I've heard that Aveda's Smooth Infusion Shampoo was awesome, but when I went into the store to inquire about it I was completyely and utterly ignored by all the employees, which pissed me off lol (I work in retail, so I know how it should be). I saw that they had sample/travel sizes of certain products, but not the shampoo. I know the price is steep, but I'd be willing to pay up if it was worth it.

You know, Aveda accepts returns on full sizes, even if you've used them. Their travel sizes are tiny, and outrageously expensive, so it makes more sense to try the full size and return it if you don't like it.
Hmmm...I should definitely try it then! I was upset when no one in the store would help me, I think they just looked at me and thought I didn't have money lol.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it

I won't be using the Vanilla Silk Shampoo on my hair anymore. It went past "just squeaky" to feeling almost like I was using Suave Clarifying.

It'll make a nice shower gel for me & shampoo for hubby though.

I am interested in shampoo but the opposite I think. I want to find a gentle shampoo with sulfates. I have found for my hair the ones with sulfates seem to work better. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just tried the new Aquage silkening sulfate free poo (and cond.) and I absolutly love it. My stylist gave me samples, I ended up trading my Kenra for the Aquage. Its pricey but for me I only wash every other day and when I start off with a good poo I have a good hair day. $20
