It never rains in S Cal, only when you get your 1st Deva cut

So it poured rain all the way to my appt and all the way back. Not the usual "drizzle" that just makes your car dirty, but heavy, cats and dogs, back east, can hardly see a thing in front of me, kind of rain. Luckily, my drive down the 15 freeway was uneventful, only saw one accident and it was already pulled over to the side of the road. Despite the rain, my hair came out fabulous! I am very happy with it. The stylist is Deva trained, and used all Deva products except the AnGell. I told her that AnGell makes my hair very dry and she said it does the same thing to her. She has a gel that she prefers, so she used that gel on me, sorry folks, I didn't get the name of it. I also had the Pintura highlighting done and I am very happy with it. My hair came out bouncy and very shiny, the rain didn't even frizz it very much at all, thanks Sherry!

She also showed be how to use the clips for the top, as I did not understand how that was done.

Your hair looks marvelous!!!!

I wanted to chime in on a different topic... the rain today!!! I live in so cal too (san diego) and when I read your post about it raining cats and dogs today...you weren't kidding. I was at Costco this morning of all places getting my tires rotated and the rain was unreal.

But, we needed it!

You can say what you want about the South, but you never hear of anyone retiring and moving North.

It looks great! Cut and color! Glad to hear and see such good results.

I have a question about the back of your hair. It's mostly very curly but it seems you have a couple of strands that are straighter right down the back. Is that normal? My hair has a little tighter curl pattern, but I have a couple of strands/stripes that do the same thing. Weird. Just wondered.

Oh, and we're getting rained out here in NorCal too. We do need the rain, but it's bad timing for the tomato crops. And our garden ones too!

The rain was almost unbearable. I had to pull off the 101 in Camarillo.
Oh,your hair looks absolutely gorgeous!! How did she dry it -- diffuser, under lamps, air dry?

as for your question, i never really noticed the straighter strands down the back, but you are absolutely right. i guess it is normal, because i didn't do anything to make those strands straighter. overall, my hair is straighter on top and curlier underneath. i think i may be 3A on top, and 3B underneath.
