Default Styling product needed for air drying in cooler weather

Time to buy a new gel. It's hard to follow the reviews because so many people can have different experiences with the same product.

So for me, I'd like something with definition and light to medium hold and I don't want it to feel producty. I don't blow dry or even diffuse my hair. The weather's getting cooler and the humidity is dropping. My hair is thick, so sometimes the curl actually gets a little lost in the bulk and looks more wavy than curly.

I'm not CG so I'm completely open to suggestions. I even made some flaxseed gel last night! My hair is soft -- maybe I can mix it with something with more hold?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I would suggest B&A gel, Mop Top Fuzzy Duck Gel, Aveda Flax Seed & Aloe Gel and I know some of the curlies like Graham Webb Making Waves in the cooler weather.
