Default Major tangles with SIF?

Has anyone who uses SIF got major tangles from it? I'm thinking that it's the beeswax that is promoting the tangles. At any rate, I've had more tangles since I started using it than ever - to the point that I have tangled clumps that look like little dreads.

I really like the curls that it gives me, but cannot deal with the tangles, which makes me want to comb out my hair while wet in the shower.

Any advice?

Amazed that I finally found a method that works for my hair! Diffuse until 60-70% dry, then let air dry for about an hour. Scrunch and leave it alone!

YES!! I don't use it anymore (I didn't like it) but I do remember getting tangles and rats type nest thing going on with it.

I don't, but I don't spray it in either. I scrunch from my palms and don't use much. I'm just finishing a bottle I got in a swap at least 4 months ago.

I don't either, but I also spray it in my palms and scrunch into my hair. I love it to scrunch the crunch. I don't think I could live without this product now.

ETA: I used to get horrible results when I sprayed SIF in my hair when it was wet.

I just sprayed some directly on my hair (it was looking dry and frizzy) and my hair looks so much better now. But it was more of misting on my hair.

So glad I'm not the only one! As I said, I like the curls, but hate the tangles.

Suburbanbushbabe and pinksuagr, I spray it into my palm as well. Dunno why I'm having this issue. Urgghh.
