Bang Bang Bang!

I've got bangs on the brain, guys! My hair has been one-length for most of my life, but I've had the crazy urge to have cute curly bangs cut into my hair. Any supporters or retractors?

For reference, here's what my hair looks like now:

Also, I was considering getting the cut done at Hair Cult in Hoboken. Lots of curlies recommended Jackie, but it seems as if she's not at the salon anymore. I'd rather not blow a wad of cash at Devachan or Christo's if I don't have to! Any other suggestions in the NY/NJ metro area?

I think it would look cute. What length were you planning on cutting them?
I think some nice face-framing ones would be flattering.

I'm aiming to do something like that.

I don't know if I'd go that short on the forehead. You don't want to cover your pretty face. I was thinking more like mine, about cheek level, that stay to the sides.

I think Rick James' cut would look good, but remember that he side parted it.
If you want face-framing curls like other people recommend then you shouldnt cut it that short but theres a way to turn them into forehead bangs based on the part that you do.

Howeverrr *cue big pouty baby tantrum* WAHHH! I WANT MY FOREHEAD BANGS!

I'm going into Fashion Public Relations (in NYC no less), so I want a style that's funky and edgy (granted, many straighties think any kind of curl is funky/edgy as is). I've had this boring old hang-down style practically my whole life, and I think I'm ready for something drastic! Sigh. Decisions, decisions.

I see, then go for those shorter bangs! I think they'll look good on you too. You'll still see enough of your pretty face. But you must post pics when you do it!
