Relaxed....natural??
I am trying to figure out if I still have some relaxed ends on the shortest part of my hair. I have been CG since I joined here about June 2006. I probably hadn't had a relaxer in about 6-9 months at that point. My canopy is the shortest part so I know now when I go to the hairdresser that the least amount of hair comes of that part. My hair was past BSL less then a month ago and now it is barely shoulder length. I do seem to have some difference in texture where the canopy is concerned but don't most of you have that too? The top front, even the front of the canopy...the part I know is natural...is very smooth, I have parts like this in my length too, mostly a lot of underneath parts and some side pieces. But the further I feel down the canopy the rougher the texture gets. I used to think that this was just my hair and that I had to deal with the canopy being rough...but now that I realize I haven't been transitioning as long as I thought...is it possible that it's just the last of the relaxer? And that I might have the hair I've dreamed of after that is all gone?? That would be great.
Has anyone else lost track of where the relaxer was thier hair? I mean I was able to wear mine curly even when I relaxed so it got a little difficult to tell the difference. Sorry to be so long...but I'm curious!

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.
