Default Great combo for evening showers!

Like most of you, I prefer to take more morning showers...they definitely make the curls happier! When I have to be somewhere early, though, I can't always make it happen. I discovered recently that if I shower in the evening and scrunch in a bit of GF C&S followed by a couple of generous blobs of LA Looks Curl gel, let it air dry, and don't scrunch out the crunch, I wake up with awesome curls. Yesterday they were actually even curlier than usual! I've yet to get the satin pillowcase (I need to get on that), and pineappling makes my curls fall out, so the fact that this combo works so well is very exciting. I just wanted to share my discovery! :-)

I have recently found that doing this with CK and BRHG w/o scrunching the crunch works for me. I HAVE to let it completely dry before hitting the hay though or I wake up with some crazies.

I don't do night showering, but I have to totally agree with you about the combo of GF C&S and LA Looks Gel. I get really awesome results when I pair these two, plop for 10 minutes, then diffuse.

I really love these cheap products that perform so well!

I've been using LA Looks for about 5 years now and I've never been disappointed. Congrats on finding something that works for you, and watch out for those early classes!

Haha, I try! The problem is when I have to go to work before class...yuck!

Do you use GF C&S leave-in or gel?

I started showering in the evenings right after dinner. I was using Jessicurl products but last week switched to O'Loreal Vive as my leave-in and top w/ HETT mousse. I don't scrunch the crunch. I just go to bed after it's totally dry and stiff (on satin pillowcases). The next morning it's wild looking, but after a few squirts of lavender water and GF Gel Spray, I get awesome curls -- and it saves so much time.

I use the leave-in conditioning cream. I seriously love this stuff!

You know, I love the HE TT gel but I've never tried the mousse. I'm thinking a trip to Target may be in order...

GF C&S also gives me great results if I use it before bed, which is great because NOTHING else that I can think of does what C&S does when I use it before bed, except I think it stopped working after a while
