Curl Chemist rocks!

I don't know who else reads her articles, but I have learned so much about why certain products do and don't work for me from a chemical perspective. I now know why my hair hates propylene glycol (humectant, and I live in Savannah). I know that cyclomethicones aren't evil. I know that nearly everything has bad sulfates in it (I am struggling to find alternatives, but things are getting better), and I feel like I'm making better choices. THANK YOU CURL CHEMIST!!!
Yay Curl Chemist! That's quite a talent you have there. I'm in gen chem this semester at university and it's no walk in the park.

I am trying to convert my SO to the curly side... he's a chemistry major and with his knowledge of chemistry and my knowledge of curls, who knows where we could go!

I really enjoy those articles too. They've helped me out a lot while plodding through the ingredients maze.

And not to get off topic, but cyclomethicones aren't evil? I didn't know that.

Yes, she rocks!

Magoo,

Check out the October article about the cyclo-cones: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlco...s.php?id=40520

CurlChemist rocks! Those are my favorite articles- I want to ask her a million questions b/c she's so smart.

Thanks, Lazy Loops. I'll have to start another post because after reading it, I have questions. I thought I had all this cone stuff figured out, but I guess not.

Amodimethicone isn't evil, either.
