back of my hair is poofy, front and sides are fine????

Another new hair issue...i apply the same amount of product to the back of my hair as I do the top and sides (Today's product of the day is Garnier Fructis curl cream with the leave-in sleek and shine conditioner). The front and sides of my hair look fine, but the back is puffy and dry! I am sick of it!!! How do I get it to lie flat??????
thanks

Worrying is like being in a rocking chair; it gives me something to do but it doesn't get me anywhere.

Best combo so far:
Shea moisture leave-in and BRHG
I have the same problem. I've found that I just have to put more prooduct in the back. If you leave some of your conditioner in after you rinse, it may help to leave a little more in the parts that are getting frizzy.

same problem here too. So frustrating.
Me too. I've learned to START product application in the back. When you've got the product on your hands, the first place you touch will be deposited with the most product. Start smoothing in the back/underneath, then move to the top and sides.
I'm a 3b, with 3c underneath.

Used to be CG, now I'm not. Using Suave Aloe & Waterlily shampoo & condish, JoiWhip, BRHG, Suave Aloe gel, Aussie Tizz No Frizz, and anything else that looks good!

putting smoothing products on the hari does thiis not smooth out the curl. sorry i should call myself clueless.

Are there any brands available worldwide ??/ i'm from Ireland
For me, I find that this is the area of my hair that tends to have more damage. I guess because it's more exposed to the elements and stuff.
I'm thinking that's why it tends to get poofier when I don't use enough product to "tame" it. I agree with the pp about starting application in the back. It seems to make a difference.
3b/c fine, thick, porous, protein sensitive
Modified CG, CJ Rehab, JCWDT, KCKT, VO5 Chamomile Tea Therapy, CJDF, HEBE Gel/Mousse, Bioinfusion Rosemary Mint shampoo, occasional protein

Experimenting with BRHG

i have this problem too! it seems like my hair in the back is always frizzy or if i put more product in it, then it goes straight to crispy!
I have the same problem, except reversed. Weird.
