Jojoba Oil...?

I'm a terrible impulse buyer... I was recommended to use jojoba oil on my hair... so I bought it online but I haven't that much of an idea of how it can help my hair... Is it to apply after rinsing conditioner off my hair after washing? Also, does it reduce frizz?

Thanks!!
I apply it to dry hair sparingly. It makes dull hair look more shiny but it can't really tame frizz. Be careful not too use too much because there's a fine line between shiny and greasy. If you do a search I'm sure you can find many other ways people use it.
Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth. I sat at a table where were rich food and wine in abundance, and obsequious attendance, but sincerity and truth were not;
and I went away hungry from the inhospitable board.

There are various ways to use it. Some apply to their ends before bedtime, wake up and co-wash or poo (depending on routine), others add a little to their hair length after the shower and before product application. Some incorporate it into a weekly or monthly DT.

I, too, am an impulsive buyer so have TWO bottles of jojoba I use both and apply one drop to palms, emulsify and apply to ends only. It's a forgiving oil. Experiment, have fun.

i massage a few drops of jojoba into my scalp before i wash my hair if my scalp is feeling a little irritated or flakey! Sorts it out proper!
fine 3b curls and spirals - first goal BSL!!

HG's - Body Shop Honey shampoo & conditioner and Shea Moisture leave-in condish which gives me lovely frizz-free bouncy curls. My PJ is calling me to experiment with gels again... argh!
I sometimes use it in place of a leave-in conditioner. Or I use it under something that tends to be crispy. I definitely use it when my hair is feeling dry when a conditioner doesn't do anything for it.

I put it on the ponytail section of my hair only & I use 3 drops. Anymore & my hair looks greasy.

My hair is a few inches past the top of my shoulders.
Jojoba is nice for scalp massage. I add a few drops of tea tree oil (I get both at Trader Joe, great prices on Desert Essence oils) and a few drops peppermint oil (makes scalp nice & tingly) or lavender or rosemary essential oil). I massage very well with fingertips and sleep with it. Actually, I can just leave it in my hair without it weighing it down, but my hair loves oils.

Jojoba is also very nice for skin. You can actually use it to cleanse your face, and to remove makeup.

It works as a leave-in or as as smoother on dry hair. But if you're looking for an oil that actually "feeds" and strengthens your hair, jojoba isn't it. The researchers tell us that coconut oil, palm oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, and olive oil actually penetrate the hair & strengthen it. Jojoba and others can't do that. I've had wonderful results using coconut oil as well as Ojon restorative treatment, which is basically palm nut oil. Nothing else that I've done for my hair has made such a difference to it -- coconut oil and Ojon are my HG. My hair is soft and shiny and I have much, much less frizz now.

Curly in Col, I know, I need to post some pix. I take terrible pictures of my hair -- mostly I end up with pictures of the bathroom sink and part of my butt . . .
I need to find some photos of my pre-CG hair, too, to really show the difference. One of these days I'll get some posted!
