Kinky Curly users.....Question

What do KCCC and KCKT smell like?

And what about texture? Slip?

I am reading that KCCC is rock-hard, I envisioned it being more of a moisture thing. I currently use Curl Keeper as my "hold" agent. Been using Jessicurl conditioners as leave-ins underneath that with some pretty good success.

And when the heck will the be in stock!??!?! KT is out of stock at Curlmart and on KC's website???
3b, and increasingly c pieces... my curls will always be a little confused, but that is just fine!

KT has a similar texture to EMBC, I think. Mine doesn't smell like anything. I didn't notice any major slip, but it definitely absorbs into the hair. I don't know about the KCCC.

If you're anywhere near NYC, you can get them both on the ground.
Location: North NJ or NYC
hmmmm - not near NYC unfortunately

and never tried Elucence....

KT is close to fragrance-free and has lots of slip. KCCC is clear gloopy jelly (not rock hard) and smells sorta like coconut but not quite. It looks like it should have slip for days but it doesn't for some reason. It feels sort of "rubbery" going on. Dries crispy (you have to unscrunch) but quite silky.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.

Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

3c-4a; Protein Sensitive(forms of wheat, keratin, soy and anything "hydrolyzed"). My hair hates coconut oil and jojoba oil(sometimes).

KT is among the most moisturizing and slip-inducing conditioners ever IMO. If you have dry hair, it will moisturize it better than anything, long term. It has no scent...though I've heard older bottles of it smelled like cherry.

CC is a snot-like jelly w/ a mildly nauseating scent. It works great, though. It doesn't dry crunchy on me unless I'm heavy handed w/ it or apply it to hair that is too dry or hair that doesn't have enough cream-based leave-in (e.g., KT).

I love this combo. My hair is so much more moisturized since I began using the KT.

If I could have only one of the above, it would probably be the KT...

What SBB said except... my tub of KCCC smells vanilla-y. Not strong and only in the tub. Once it's in my hair, I smell nothing. It lets the Island Fantasy scent of TS shine.

My KCKT doesn't have a scent. My daughter says the KCCC smells like a sugar cookie.

They are a great combo and for me work better together than with anything else. Any crunch i get scrunches right out. I do have to be careful because using too much can lead to producty hair and because of the consistency i find it a little difficult to distribute evenly. Any advice on getting a more even distribution?
