Is anyone else here prone to breakouts?

Another option you can try is Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. It's really good for moisturizing the face without breakouts (for me, anyway). It has dimethicone, but it says it's non-comedeogenic and good for sensitive skin. A little goes a long way.

Interesting site, but I'm a little confused. It gives mineral oil and petrolatum good ratings but I would never put that stuff on my face.

And unfortunately, I have enough of a moral remorse just wearing wool in winter, I'm definitely not going to seek out lanolin to use. I'd buy the leather saddle for my bicycle I've been coveting before I'd purposely get lanolin for a cosmetic purpose.

Ah, if only there were a CG-for-skin system or website!

However, Acne.org really helped me out with my skin. It has lots of product reviews and a step-by-step guide to "The Regimen". It's worth checking out.
