Good Hair Day!!! New Products!!

Today I was unsure how my hair would turn out. I did an overnight DT (by accident) with Jessicurl WDT. I really just fell asleep and woke up at 1 a.m. realized it was still on my hair, but was too sleepy to wash it out. This morning when I washed my hair felt like it had like nothing on it so I guess it absorbed most of the WDT. I used some L'Oreal something condish that has an a-cone and followed with a dab of WDT as my leave-in, RR and CCSS and then a little G&F curl cream. I got to work with hair that looked iffy. Went in the bathroom and scrunched (hair is 80%) dry and came out with soft large curls.

When I walked out the bathroom I got two hair compliments! One of them was so sweet and said that I have really beautiful hair and that Beyonce tries to make her curls like mine, but can't quite get there. Then I went into the copy room and someone told me, "Curly hair rocks!" Can I get an amen? lol...

So, I feel really good. My curls are soft and pretty. We shall see how they hold up during the day. This is only my 2nd time trying Jessicurl products so I have no idea if my curls will flop by the end of the day.... even if they do I don't care because I'm just happy that they look so good now!

(BTW, I had SUPER fast shipping from both Jessicurl & Curl Mart. I ordered from both on Thursday and had products by Saturday!)
3B with some 3a. Fell off but am now back on the CG bandwagon and looking for my HG products.
I'm experimenting with CCSS and like it. (: I used it over pink Boots today with really nice results.

I think you may be one of my hair twins... your hair in your Fotki pics (#5 & #10) look so much like mine (diff color/length of course).

I had not so great luck with Jessicurl stylers (glad you did!), but the WDT is A-MAZING, and I intentionally do overnight treatments with it! (sometimes i add in a little Sweet Almond Oil and it is even better..)

ETA - I also use a technique similar to Skip-Curl (which your first pic shows) - i don't actually twirl it like a jump rope like they say.... I just wrap large sections around my hand, then repeat (i show it in my pics) with lots of product and then I plop.... mainly b/c I like looser curls.
3b, and increasingly c pieces... my curls will always be a little confused, but that is just fine!

Well, by the end of the day my hair had A LOT of volume, but was still very curly. I think this is the most curl action I've had in sometime, but now I wonder whether it was just the WDT or the combination of everything. Hmm.... I did have some frizz too, but the curls were so perfect I didn't mind the frizz.

I will have to expirament with trying just CCSS and other stuff and just RR and other stuff and see how that works out for me.

Confusedcurl, my skip curl picture is on 2nd or 3 day hair! lol... I keep meaning to update the picture to say that. Your curling technique sounds interesting. I will have to try! Pretty hair, btw!
