Do you poo?

I go between my HG Wen cleansing condish and various conditioner washes (Curls, MOP, Sauve, Aveda), doing so 3 times a week and probably every 2 weeks ...I will use Creme of nature diluted with condish.

I will not chop my hair off in frustration this year. I will not..I promise, no braids, no braids, no chopping.
Every so often, mostly after the gym when I feel stinky, I use Paves No-Sulfates Allowed Cleanser. I love the smell, my hair never feels dry from it and it does the trick. The other days I just condition.

I use VO5 conditioners to wash my hair. Cheap, easy to find, smell good, my hair loves them.

I shampoo with Biolage Color Care every 3 days, followed by the matching conditioner. I have been straightening lately, so this works great. If I am going wavy/curly, I shampoo and condition every couple days. My hair looks better the longer I let the natural oils get to it.
2c with some 3a thrown in for fun!
I cowash everyday with AO Honeysuckle Rose conditioner. Once a week, I clarify with AO Calaguala Fern Treatment Shampoo and then I do a deep treatment. I might go to shampooing once every two weeks soon. But I just really feel my hair needs to be washed sometimes. I have tried to go without shampooing at all, and this is the best I can do (once a week) before I start feeling like I really want to wash my hair. Hopefully, eventually I will be able to make it a month or two without shampooing , just to see how my hair responds.
3b/c, fine hair, low porosity. Had dreadlocks for three years and combed them out a year ago. Currently letting my hair grow...

Low sulfate & sulfate free. Aveda sap moss sulfate-free poo, joico k-pak gentle sulfate poo, jessicurl HCC going to try ojon poo & GM poo next. every 2 days, sometimes 3, but usually 2. I only use HCC once in awhile as it weighs my hair down a lot.

I use American Crew Daily Co [nice and minty fresh], Suave Milk and Honey Co [moisturizing], NoPoo, Suave Citrus Smoothie Co, Aubrey Organics Awaphui Mango sulphate-free 'poo, CoN, and ACV.

I just use whatever my hair seems to need at the time. Right now I'm big on using the American Crew and a little CS to thin it out and make it easier to work in. Great combo. I only use the poo's every once in a while. I usually mix some CS, a little American Crew, and a tiny bit of Aubrey Organics.

I wash with conditioner just about daily. Right now, I'm using Suave's Humectant to wash and will add some Epsom salt if my scalp feels itchy. Then I condition with a mixture of Elucence, VO5 MM Strawberries and Cream and sometimes a little honey. The last couple of weeks, I've been rinsing just a few seconds and using this as a leave-in as well.

On the weekends, I'll try and use up some of my other conditioners either to wash or condition, just to get rid of them. I'm modified CG as some of my stuff (stylers included) have a cone in them, but my hair responds well to cones.

I haven't use shampoo (regular or sulfate-free) since April. The only time I did was when I got my hair re-highlighted and that had to be done to get the dye off my scalp. What was interesting is that it took about a week for my hair to get back to normal !

Condition wash once every 4 days or so with Suave Coconut Conditioner. I love love love it for this purpose. It ain't much as a leave in though.

Have tried CO washing with Aloeba, One Condition, and generic Biolage Conditioning Balm. None of them give me the squeaky seaweedy feeling that the Suave does. Also not a big fan of just rinsing, massaging scalp and restyling. HTH
I have finally realized I look my best when my hair tells me how it is going to fall, and I just make suggestions.

I shampoo and condition every two to three days or so. I use Herbal Essences shampoo and Pantene Pro V. Both work really well for my hair.
3A/2C combination of ringlets and waves
I checked Sulfate free non-lathering cleanser: Deva No-poo, but maybe that is really more like conditioner washing?
In the winter, when I'm more wavy I use mop C-system sulfate free shampoo, really nice stuff.

The CoN's really vary, label to label, and even seem to get reformulated occasionally, they're hard to keep up with.

Plink, I'm so glad you kept mentioning the Suave Tropical Coconut Co, because I had tried the Milk & Honey and Citrus Smoothie, and neither of them had worked for me at all. I was really skeptical about trying the Trop.Coconut, but ever since I started using it a couple of months ago I've been loving it to cowash with.

I CW with Devacurl No Poo or Suave Coconut Conditioner and once a week or every 2 wks I use Low Poo or Jessicurl HCC. Once a month I try to clarify using Ouidad Moisturizing Shampoo and/or ACV rinse. I would like to try the CoN in the future. Which one would you recommend for my 3b/c hair?

Once a month I use a clairifying shampoo for hard water (Kelate is way gentler than Aveda detox for me) and every 3 days I CO wash with Suave Tropical Coconut.
Thanks to this board I have finally achieved 3rd day hair and my hair is so much easier to deal with.

I use DevaRed Low-poo and Cream of Nature red label. I co-wash only sometimes too. I looooove suds though. If I feel the need in the future, as I've been using certain cones, I will use EO Clarifying French Lavender 'poo. It does not use traditional sulfates, but sodium coco-sulfate which is supposed to be gentle. Long as I condish afterwards, it's nice. It smells fantastically lavendery!
